Summer is winding down, which means we now have definitive data to support the song of the season. With more than 380 million streams between June 1st and August 15th, “ROCKSTAR” by DaBaby featuring Roddy Rich was the most-streamed song on Spotify this summer, both in Canada and worldwide.

The TikTok-favourite track is followed closely by “Blinding Lights” by Scarborough, Ont.’s The Weeknd at almost 340 million streams and “Roses – Imanbek Remix” by SAINt JHN with more than 280 millions streams.

Other summer hits include Harry Styles‘ “Watermelon Sugar,” Dua Lipa with “Don’t Start Now” and “Break My Heart” and a couple Ariana Grande collabs – “Rain On Me” with Lady Gaga and the Justin Bieber-assisted track, “Stuck with U.”

As far as podcasts go, Michelle Obama has taken the reigns as the most highly streamed show in Canada this summer despite only premiering The Michelle Obama Podcast a little over a month ago. The former first lady’s pod is followed by Call Her Daddy, TED Talks Daily and Harry Potter At Home: Readings.
