In 2023, Gillette Venus surveyed over a thousand Canadian women and found that 96 percent of us agree that women’s bodies are subject to scrutiny in swimwear¹ and one-third of us feel uncomfortable being in swimwear in public¹. As a result, the brand is bringing back its #AnyBodyisABeachBody initiative to promote body confidence

This year, Gillette Venus is going further by partnering with Canadian brand The Saltwater Collective, who is launching a size-inclusive collection of swimwear with designs to suit all bodies. The match is meaningful: The two companies share a similar lean toward body confidence and inclusivity. What’s more, the capsule collection will benefit young girls’ body confidence through its support of Canadian charity Fast and Female.

 

The collection features six designs available in four colourways and in sizes ranging from X-Small to 4XL, with half of them picked from The Saltwater Collective’s most beloved pieces. Intention is at the heart of the initiative—and so is Gillette Venus’ research: The capsule collection is designed to address three common issues that Canadian women encounter when looking for swimwear. Say goodbye to swimsuits that have unsupportive tops, are unflattering around the midsection and have saggy bottoms.

If you want to be one of the first to get your hands on this swimwear, the collection is available now for a pre-sale in limited quantities. But don’t worry if you miss out, the official launch is on May 1, 2024 with a larger volume of quantities available.
