A reviving moisturizer
The best thing about Shiseido’s new Essential Energy Hydrating Cream? Could it be that it’s suitable for all skin—including sensitive types? Or maybe it’s that it contains both purified and micronized hyaluronic acid, which delivers intense, long-lasting moisture? Or is it the panax ginseng root extract, a 2,000-plus-year-old ingredient that people have long used to soothe and energize skin? Or is it actually that the elegant red jar is designed to be refilled, helping you reduce your own plastic waste? We’ll let you decide for yourself.
For fast-acting hydration
Looking for instantly quenched skin? Look no further than Dermalogica’s Circular Hydration Serum. Enhanced hyaluronic acid penetrates deep for supple, glowing skin, while working alongside fermented soybean-derived polyglutamic acid and an algae extract-infused moisturizing matrix, both of which promote long-lasting hydration. The serum feels lightweight, but you’ll notice the difference it makes.
For photo-ready volume
Apply one or two pumps of DesignMe’s Puff.Me Volumizing Mousse to damp hair just before blow drying, and the whipped, airy foam will help you achieve easy, visible (not to mention covetable) volume and bounce to your style. As if that wasn’t enough, the multi-functional product also lightly conditions and protects against heat and humidity—all without any added crunchiness. You’re welcome.
A glowy SPF
We’re always ready to try a new SPF—especially when it’s from a cult brand like Glow Recipe. The new Watermelon Glow Sunscreen SPF 50 is a unique blend of chemical and mineral filters that feels light and blendable without leaving a white cast. Aside from performing exactly how you want a good sunscreen to, it’s also refining and super hydrating thanks to ingredients like niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and vitamin-rich aloe, imparting a stunning, dewy glow upon application.
The newest in celeb beauty
Gwen Stefani is joining the beauty game. Inspired by her bold, unabashed approach to makeup, the “Hollaback Girl” singer has launched her own brand, GXVE. The line hit shelves with eight products, including eyeshadow quads, a priming face oil, waterproof eyeliners, two types of brow pencils and matte, satin and liquid matte lipsticks—all available in Stefani’s signature red, naturally.

Skincare crafted by moms, for moms
Navigating skincare while pregnant can be tricky and overwhelming. Enter Evereden, a multi-generational skincare brand backed by dermatologists who also happen to be mothers. Formulas are science-backed, full of naturally derived ingredients and created specifically with expectant and post-partum mothers—and their babies—in mind. The line has officially launched in Canada with eight products, including an enriching Baby Lip Balm, the biodegradable Soothing Belly Mask and the stretch mark-reducing Golden Belly Serum.

A travel-inspired collection
Moroccanoil is expanding its Mediterranean-inspired body collection. New to the line are a hydrating, antioxidant-rich hand wash, a radiance-boosting body lotion and a refreshing shower gel. All three products are available in the brand’s signature sweet and spicy original fragrance, plus five new scents, including Ambre Noir, with welcoming notes of white cardamom, amber and jasmine, and the beachy and smoky Oud Minéral.
Price: from $23
A sensitive skin-friendly hydrator
Moisture-binding squalene, glycerin and hyaluronic acid all join forces in Summer Fridays new Dream Oasis Deep Hydration Serum to treat thirsty skin. The effective, gel-like serum is fragrance-free, making it suitable for sensitive and blemish-prone skin, and even goes the extra mile to soothe with ingredients like aloe vera, arnica, chamomile and colloidal oatmeal. The result? The appearance of fine lines and redness is reduced, and skin looks smooth and hydrated.
To enhance your natural glow
Alicia Keys’ feel-good beauty brand is now available at Sephora, and to celebrate, a brand-new product has been added to its lineup. The Let Me Glow Illuminating Serum contains a blend of niacinamide, vitamin B3 and rose water to hydrate, brighten, plump and prime skin for makeup. Happy glowing.
A seasonally-appropriate moisturizer
Celebrate cherry blossom season in style. K-beauty brand Innisfree’s newly reformulated Dew Glow Jelly Cream with Jeju Cherry Blossom is, as the name implies, made with double the amount of the OG’s soothing cherry blossom leaf extract from Jeju Island (where many of its ingredients are sustainably sourced) and radiance-boosting niacinamide. Your skin will love this lightweight gel in warmer weather.
Spa-worthy body care
Caudalie is bringing its beloved Vinothérapie spa-inspired treatments to a new body collection. Pamper yourself with the Vinotherapist Body Care line, which is made up of four products. The Hyaluronic Nourishing Body Lotion is a non-greasy moisturizer for normal to dry skin types; the Replenishing Vegan Body Butter is ideal for providing relief to dry, itchy, atopic-prone skin; the Hand & Nail Repairing Cream repairs and protects hands from dehydration and external stressors; and the Foot Beauty Cream nourishes dry and cracked feet. Bonus: close your eyes and let the soft, sweet scent transport you to Bordeaux.

A relaxing cleanser
Winter may (almost) be over, but that doesn’t mean everyone’s cold-ravaged skin will just heal overnight. Practice a little TLC with Uriage’s Cleansing Oil. Formulated with nourishing glycerin and Uriage Thermal Water, the oil-gel works up into a gentle lather to cleanse and protect dry, all skin types—including the most sensitive.
A game-changing lip treatment
The secret to fuller, plumper lips with the least amount of effort possible? U Beauty’s Plasma Lip Compound, a collagen-boosting treatment that moisturizes, softens, and delivers a 3-D cushion-effect look to your lips. You’ll want to stick with it, too: According to the brand, the longer you use it, the more noticeable the results.
For your next at-home self-care night
Sometimes, a good exfoliating treatment can make you feel like a brand-new person (…just us?). Next time you need to revive dull skin, try Beautycounter’s Reflect Effect AHA Smoothing Facial Mask, which combines chemical and physical exfoliants like glycolic acid and bamboo particles to remove dead skin and smooth tone and texture. The clean-beauty brand also launched a 3-in-1 Facial Tool: a silicone spatula you can use to apply and remove the gel mask, and massage post-mask products afterwards.
Never say Rihanna doesn’t listen to her fans. Soon after the superstar launched Fenty Skins, sensitive skin types were eager for fragrance-free versions. Their wish has now been granted, with the newly reformulated Fenty Skin Fragrance-Free Start’rs. The brand’s staples—namely the antioxidant-rich Makeup-Removing Cleanser, ultra-functional Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum and lightweight Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen—are now all available in fragrance-free options (including a full-size bundle kit).
Nature-inspired dry shampoo
For its latest launch, Batiste is going natural. The dry shampoo brand’s Naturally range is made with 100-percent natural extracts. It’s currently available in two products: Green Tea & Chamomile, a detoxifying formula with herbal, sandalwood and suede notes; and Bamboo Fibre & Gardenia, which gives extra lift to fine hair with a delicate floral fragrance. Go ahead, skip wash day.
A thoughtful tool
Ready to up your massage game? Asian-Canadian brand Métange—known for its beautiful, hand-carved black obsidian-stone gua sha tools—has just introduced its Duality Stone. Also made from black obsidian, the comb-shaped tool has two purposes: the pronged edge is meant to be used to relieve tension on your scalp while hair is wet; the flat edge should be used with downward strokes on your body. Drawing on traditional Eastern healing practices, the tool is meant to increase circulation, detoxify and stimulate lymphatic drainage.
A soon-to-be-viral cleanser
Toronto-born celebrity creative director and TikTok star Ryan Dubs only launched his skincare brand, Dew of the Gods, in 2020, but chances are you’ve seen its playful yet luxe products on your FYP at one point or another. Its newest product is the Fog Cashew Milk Cleanser, which uses a blend of cashew milk, Icelandic charcoal, squalene and cold-pressed lavender to cleanse and detox skin while replenishing your moisture barrier.
For a go-to lip
Deciding upon your spring-weather signature lip colour just got a whole lot easier. Pupa Milano’s new line of matte lipsticks, Petalips, are rich, super pigmented, creamy, long-lasting and—most importantly—comfortable to wear. Find it in eight shades of pretty pinks and reds.
The latest for oily skin
We often forget that oily skin can also be dehydrated. Klorane’s Aquatic Mint Face Care has been specifically formulated for combination to oily skin types, highlighting antioxidant-rich and anti-inflammatory organic aquatic mint. Purify, mattify and hydrate with the range, which includes a sebum-reducing Purity Cream, a detoxifying and exfoliating 3-in-1 Purifying Powder cleanser, and an absorbent white-clay mask.
