Olivia Rodrigo’s in her vampire era and we’re certainly not mad about it. The star took to social media to show off her blood red lips and a short mani to match, and it’s giving major fall energy. To get the look, opt for a high-pigment gloss with plenty of shine, like KVD Beauty’s XO Vinyl Lip Cream in the shade “Dahlia”. Rodrigo keeps her lashes pretty low-key here, so be sure to use a mascara lightweight enough to give you that romantic wispy look, like the Clinique High Impact High-Fi Full Volume Mascara, which features a gel formula that adds volume without clumpiness. Y2K-inspired styles have been back for a while, but this fall we’re going a little less bubblegum and a little more edgy. Take Sydney Sweeney’s glam, which makeup artist Patrick Ta calls “music video vixon”. For this 2000’s-era look, load up on the liner. To keep things simple, go for an all-in-one pencil, liner and shadow like the Sisley-Paris Phyto-Eye Twist in Deep Black. This fuss-free jumbo pencil glides on skin effortlessly and stays put to avoid the dreaded racoon-eye look (think more pop princess, less indie sleaze).
