This is Reneé Rapp’s world and we’re all just living in it.

If you feel like you’re all of a sudden seeing Renee Rapp everywhere, you’re not alone. The 24 year old actress and singer-songwriter exploded onto the scene as Regina George in the new Mean Girls movie musical.

Rapp played the role briefly on Broadway but her time on stage was cut short by COVID. Since, she has hustled to put out two albums, gone on tour, and established herself as perhaps one of the best SNL musical guests ever.

Now, she’s adding another string to her bow as the new ambassador for Mejuri.

The Canadian-founded fine jewellery brand announced the news along with the launch of the new U Hoops Collection.

Rapp stars as the face of the Hoops All Ways campaign which is meant to celebrate self-expression much like Rapp does.

She is known for her forthcoming and down-to-earth persona in interviews and her writing is typically deeply personal.

The campaign creative, photographed by Cass Bird, features Rapp sporting the seven of the 12 different hoop styles during various moments throughout her day in New York City.

“We knew Reneé was perfect for our campaign. She embodies Mejuri’s values of challenging the status quo. Not to mention our community adores her,” says CEO and Co-founder of Mejuri, Noura Sakkijha, in a recent press release. “There’s a lot to love about her—from her cool playfulness to bold humour—and our campaign captures every side.”

“Jewellery is a large part of my personal style; incorporating dainty pieces with masculine leaning outfits, or bold aggressive rings with feminine skirts. It’s all about balance,” Rapp says in a press release. Rapp says she’s been wearing the brand’s jewellery for years and that being an ambassador feels like a “very full circle” moment. “What I put on my body represents me and who I am. Individuality and authenticity when it comes to jewellery is paramount,” she says.

The new hoops range in shape from a classic circle to U-shaped, and sculptural. The modern designs include smooth, textured, and diamond variations in 14k yellow gold, 18k gold vermeil and sterling silver. They start at $128 and go up to $1,800.

Mejuri also added new designs to its Staple Hoop Collection last month and both are now available online and in store.
