Returning for its 24th year, the Interior Design Show (IDS) is back from January 19 – 22, 2023 with its immersive and renowned tradeshow at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building in Toronto.

Presented by Miele, IDS Toronto will explore design for a complex world with its theme, Moving Parts. As interior designers continue to face the constant transitions of the world, the formal rule book has been shattered. This is making designers look towards the future to create pieces that reflect the world we live in.

Design should reflect the complexity and nuance of the world,” said Will Sorrell, National Director, IDS (Toronto & Vancouver). “At IDS 2023 visitors will experience the Moving Parts of the design world and see how the most creative minds are finding solutions in these constantly changing times. I’m thrilled to carry on IDS’ legacy of launching new design ideas, initiating important conversations and uniting design and architecture.”

Some of this year’s IDS exhibitors include: Caesarstone, Benjamin Moore, Cosentino, Dekko, Fleurco, House of Rohl, Hudsons Bay, Khayeri Flooring, Miele, Montauk, Sherwin Williams and Weave Arts.

Vistors can also expect design talks, featuring keynote speakers: Mexican designer Fernando Laposse, Mi’kmaq multi-disciplinary artist Jordan Bennett, architecture studio owner Omar Gandhi and more.

The District, a popular design marketplace, returns to the IDS, allowing visitors to buy products and accessories.

“We are delighted to be working with the industry’s most creative minds, local makers and global brands this January,” said Sorrell.
