It can be overwhelming to navigate this world of products, media and content—should you buy that moisturizer? What TikTok shouldn’t you scroll past? Is that TV show really worth the hype? To help ELLE Canada readers stay in the know, every month, we’re going to be sharing what we’ve been loving throughout the month—from beauty to clothing to movies. Think of it as the crème de la crème of recommendations.
Lapis Blue Tansy Face Oil, Herbivore Botanicals
If you struggle with acne-prone or oily skin (which typically go hand-in-hand), the idea of using a face oil seems absolutely scary. But have no fear, the Lapis Blue Tansy Face Oil is going to become a staple in your skincare routine—yes, oily skin needs moisture too and can get dehydrated—this can lead to dry patches and skin that feels unbalanced. The face oil can be used in the morning and night and should be applied with four to six drops to absorb into the skin. Your skin will thank you!
Sex Dust, Moon Juice
Valentine’s Day came and went, but that doesn’t mean sex doesn’t happen. Moon Juice’s Sex Dust is an innovative product, that aims to unstress your sex life. It’s a powder that can be added to any beverage—this stimulating adaptogenic blend targets stress to support a healthy hormonal balance and an added libido boost. It can also help to support overall mood and energy. If you’re looking for an extra pep in your step, this product is a must-try.
Counter+ All Bright C Serum, Beautycounter
The winter really is taking a toll on our skin. Having a Vitamin C serum to plump and hydrate our faces is crucial to avoiding dry skin. The Counter+ All Bright C Serum from Beautycounter is it. This bright, antioxidant-rich formula instantly brightens skin and helps reduce the appearance of existing dark spots, while the additions of turmeric and camu camu extracts help protect against new ones. Fun fact, this product infuses a 10% blend of two forms of Vitamin C.
True Wireless Earbuds, Beats Fit Pro
Designed for comfort, the new earbuds from Beats Fit Pro are an ideal fit for the on-the-go gal. They’re designed to comfortably fit in the ear—gone are the days where your ears are in pain from your headphones. These earbuds are meant to create a balanced sound via a custom acoustic platform that stays with you through your daily activities and throughout the work day. With up to six hours of listening time and 18 additional hours from the pocket-sized charging case, the Beats Fit Pro gives you up to 24 hours of combined playback. Add to cart!
Sandy Liang x Vans
This season, Vans has collaborated with New York-based designer Sandy Liang for a footwear and apparel collection. Inspired by the ‘90s and childhood nostalgia, Sandy Liang has put her signature designs on some of the shoe brand’s most iconic styles. With ditzy floral patterns and whimsical graphics, if you’re looking for an instant mood boost, this collection is worth a look. Some of our fave pieces include, this super comfy striped long sleeve, and these gingham floral print sneakers, which go perfectly with the collection’s ruffle socks.

Cannabis-Infused Tonic, Cann
Tonic drinkers, listen up: The cult-favorite, cannabis-infused social tonic, Cann is finally expanding to Canada. With a microdose of 2mg THC and 4mg CBD, these beverages take off the edge without taking you over the edge. With just 35 calories, this alcohol alternative comes in refreshing flavours like Lemon Lavender, Blood Orange Cardamom and Grapefruit Rosemary. Our personal fave is Lemon Lavender, which is equally sweet and sour. While Cann isn’t available to buy online, find a local vendor here.
Figaro Gold Chain, 4 Letter Series x NoahNoahNoah
ELLE Canada alum Noah Lehava of NoahNoahNoah, has recently collaborated with Canadian brand 4 Letter Series. The drop is a collection of vintage jewelry—from amazing gold chains to truly unique pendants each piece of the collection falls under the word categories: GOLD, GLOW, CITY and RARE. The brand’s ethos of storytelling is rooted in each collection and this one is no different. Of the collection, Lehava said: “Vintage pieces were rarely made en masse and were crafted by skilled artisans that put their own touch on each one. No two were alike.” We love this simple gold chain which is the perfect addition to your everyday jewelry collection.
Rosewood Hotel Georgia Alchemy of Sleep Retreat
If you’re in Vancouver, or are in need of a west coast vacay, the Rosewood Hotel Georgia’s Alchemy of Sleep Retreat is right up your (and our) alley. With a holistic approach to sleep, the four day retreat addresses a variety of practices involving nutrition, movement and mindfulness, presenting a mix of treatments and experiences, expert consultations and classes that ensure each guest finds skills to incorporate into their everyday lives. The retreats include a three-night ‘Sleep Transformation’ and a one-night ‘Dreamscape’ which includes unique turndown amenities from a signature sleep tea ritual to in-room Canadian wilderness deep sleep forest bathing. We feel relaxed just writing this.
The Power of the Dog
While western period pieces aren’t for everyone, Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog is a must-see—and is currently available to stream on Netflix. Based on the 1967 novel by Thomas Savage, the film follows a domineering rancher (Benedict Cumberbatch) who responds with mocking cruelty to his brother (Jesse Plemons) who brings home a new wife (Kirsten Dunst) and her son, until the unexpected comes to fruition. The Power of the Dog covers themes such as love, grief, resentment, jealousy and sexuality, which is everything we need for a good drama. The film is nominated for 12 Oscars, and has given iconic ‘90s and early 2000s icon and actress, Kirsten Dunst her first Oscar nominee.
Once Twice Melody, Beach House
We can feel the warm weather coming soon, thanks to Beach House’s eighth-studio album Once Twice Melody. After a three-year hiatus the Baltimore, Maryland duo is back and better than ever. The double album consists of 18 songs—one of the standout tracks being the opening track, which shares a name with the album. While the sounds of Beach House are still grounded in dream pop, there are sounds of psychedelic rock and synth-pop that feels exploratory for the duo. In the spring and summer, Beach House will be going on tour, making Canadian stops in Vancouver (April 5), Toronto (July 15) and Montreal (July 16) to promote the new album.
