Some thought the day would never come, but as each Friends cast member slowly joined Instagram (with Jennifer Aniston nearly breaking it thanks to a cast selfie), it became clear that something big was happening. Today it’s been confirmed: the first official Friends reunion since the show ended in 2004. That’s right, a TV special is in the works!

You probably have some questions – here’s what we know so far.

The whole cast is on board.

We can’t imagine a universe in which there are less than six Friends cast members present on set and luckily, we don’t have to. Aniston posted a photo of the whole gang and tagged all her co-stars, inferring that Rachel, Phoebe, Monica, Joey, Ross and Chandler will all be together again.

It’s unscripted and untitled.

Meaning anything is possible. Start making title guesses now!

HBO Max is set to air the special in the U.S.

HBO shows typically air on Crave in Canada, but there is no official word from the streaming service yet whether this will be the case.

The nostalgia factor will be undeniable.

According to Variety, the special will be shot on the original Friends soundstage on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank. The cast (Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry) will team up with the original producers on the special, making it a crew reunion as well.

The Premiere Date Is TBA.

But that just gives us more time to rewatch the series on Netflix for the fifth time.
