It was confirmed today that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have gotten married, and sources have shared some details of the Las Vegas ceremony with People. Court records for Clark County, Nevada, show the couple got their marriage license under their full legal names, Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lynn Lopez. They had a “small” ceremony afterwards, a source said.

“It was super, super small,” the insider detailed. “[Jennifer’s] mom and kids were there. They just wanted to be married so they got married.”

J.Lo and Affleck rekindled their romance in 2021, after almost two decades since they got together for the first time. They got engaged this year. In February, Lopez told People that there’s a reason things are working out this time.

“We’re older now, we’re smarter, we have more experience, we’re at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things,” she explained.

Lopez continued, “It’s a beautiful outcome that this has happened in this way at this time in our lives where we can really appreciate and celebrate each other and respect each other. We always did, but we have even more of an appreciation because we know that life can take you in different directions.”

She also suggested that because they have been in the public eye for so long at this point they better understand what to prioritize. For both of them, their kids are the number one priority. Lopez has two children with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, and Affleck has three children with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. The newlyweds have made a big effort to blend their families and recently bought a house in Beverly Hills that should be able to house everyone when they get together.
