Shop like a fashion editor at these one-of-a-kind Toronto boutiques.

Brand-new and brimming with the makings of a destination boutique, Convey is a store that caters to the creative; offering a collection of up-and-coming labels from all around the world. One step into the granite-and-wood embellished space and you’ll be transformed; so long, cookie cutter! Hello, chic fashionista with an intellectual edge! 754 Queen Street West.

Oak + Fort

Grounded in a belief that fashion should be rooted in design and well-curated thoughtfulness, Oak + Fort is shockingly young for it’s quick cult following. Become enamoured with their distinctively languid silhouettes; think Parisian scholar meets androgynous It-girl. With a new locale at Toronto’s Eaton Centre, there’s sure to be a nearby location to satisfy your fashion fix. 220 Yonge Street, The shops at Don Mills, 666 Queen Street West.

Kit and Ace

The Canadian label that introduced us to technical cashmere–basically, the ultimate athleisure uniform–set up its Toronto-based flagship location on the swank stretch of Bloor Street that’s home to Holt Renfrew, Gucci and Louis Vuitton. The space is slick: think luminous white walls, copper finishes and geometric light fixtures. Head to the back of the store where a comfy couch is tempting after a long day of shopping, and check out the Technical Atelier where resident designers churn out experimental garments from the open workshop–it’s one of only five such spaces worldwide. (This is also where you can have your purchases tailored.) And, if all of this wasn’t already too cool for school, you can also get your caffeine fix at Sorry Coffee Co., the in-house coffee shop. 102 Bloor St. W.

6 by Gee Beauty

We like to consider 6 by Gee Beauty our secret oasis. Before your next oceanside getaway a visit to their boutique’s a must! Located in Rosedale, 6 by Gee Beauty’s cabana-inspired location sells an assortment of beauty and fashion pieces from designers like Lisa Maria Fernandez. 6 Roxborough St. W.

119 Corbo

Canada’s sophisticated trendsetters are known to frequent 119 Corbo – otherwise known as the ultimate women’s speciality boutique. Whether it’s a Celine Phantom handbag or Erdem trousers, this spot’s here to fulfill all of your luxe desires. 119 Yorkville Ave.

Johnathan + Olivia

Jonathan + Oliva’s just like our favourite go-to LBD: It never lets us down. Just when we thought we could never get our hands on the latest Acne Studios collection, Jonathan + Olivia’s had it. Hence why they’ll always be our haven for contemporary fashion #forever. 49 Ossington Ave.

A favourite amongst fashionable locals, Zane is yur go-to for getting accessorize. Go and treat yourself to those Karen Walker sunglasses and that Mackage crossbody you’ve always wanted! You can totally thank us later. 753 Queen St. W.

Easy Tiger Goods

Easy Tiger Goods lifestyle concept store is the place to go for everything from womenswear to stationary. But what really draws us to this boutique is their selection of jewellery. If you appreciate simple, minimalist pieces at a good price we highly recommend a trip here soon. 1447 Dundas St. W.

Canon Blanc

Love Parisian style? You’re in for a treat. Canon Blanc calls themself the “Ambassadors of French awesomeness” and we have to agree. In addition to outfitting you in true French style, they stock eco-friendly fashion and support Canadian brands that are organic, free-trade and locally crafted. 679 Queen St. W.

Over the Rainbow

Over the Rainbow’s our denim sanctuary. We’ve struck gold with this retail paradise located in the heart of Yorkville. With their all-star staff and ultimate selection, they make buying jeans enjoyable rather than a complete nightmare. J Brand, Fidelity and Citizens of Humanity, here we come! 101 Yorkville Ave.

Heel Boy

Got an obsession with shoes? (Us too.) Satisfy it with a trip to Heel Boy in the Distillery District. You can name it, they’ve got it, whether it’s Steve Madden heels or New Balance sneakers. This footwear favourite’s bound to keep your feet happy. 773 Queen St. W.

Expect to fall in love with Victoire if Zooey Dechanel, Liz Taylor or Lana Del Ray are your style crushes. Stocked with the most adorkable clothing and jewellery brands, this boutique makes a great option for anyone who loves quirky, retro designs. 129A Ossington Ave.
