The new clutch
Our new favourite accessory is tech-savvy, too.
By Jennifer Weatherhead I’m a big lover of techie gadgets and my over-sized bag is filled with the latest — Blackberry, iPhone, iPad, laptops, MP3 players … but I’ve been stuck on finding a new tech toy that is also incredibly stylish. Give it up to
Vivienne Tam, who partnered to create a sleek, stylish notebook that doubles as a clutch.
The digital clutch is essential for playing, partying and staying connected no matter where you go — and I have to say, I love Tam’s latest Butterfly Lovers edition (which also made a quick cameo in
Sex and The City 2).
Tam’s first design for the HP mini was back in 2008 — a rich red laptop with Tam’s signature floral design that was elegantly curved and just the right size to double as a clutch. Her new butterfly design made me ooh and aah when I first caught a glimpse of it in NYC back in May. It’s pretty gold background and large pink butterflies had me sold, but feeling how incredibly light the laptop made it a must-have. I certainly don’t mind having my laptop attached to our hip when I have one of these to carry around town. Visit
