What did Reformation create this time around? Highly durable and super-stylish city shoes. The Ref Shoes 2.0 collection features 15 unique and 100 percent recyclable models – and we’re keeping an eye out for more looks to come this summer. The American brand collaborated with Looptworks, a company that repurposes abandoned materials into accessories and clothes.
Driven by a belief in sustainable production techniques, the clothing and accessories brand works exclusively with tanneries classified as gold or silver by the Leather Working Group, in recognition of using best practices for water, waste, and chemical product management. Thanks to these initiatives, a pair of Ref Shoes 2.0 produce an average of 37 percent less carbon dioxide and require 58 percent less water than a traditional pair of shoes. The Ref Shoes 2.0 collection is available now via Reformation.com.
