On the META's Decision to End Distribution of Journalistic Content on Meta Platforms

You may have already heard about it in the media: Following the passage of Bill C-18, Meta (the parent company of Facebook and Instagram) decided to block access to news from Canadian media on its various platforms.
Canadian news sites – including the lifestyle websites of magazines such as ELLE Québec, ELLE Canada and VÉRO – will therefore be excluded from Meta’s various platforms. In short, it will be impossible to access their content through Facebook or Instagram. However, thousands of people consult our articles every day thanks to the posts on the Facebook and Instagram accounts of our various magazines.
