Picking the perfect restaurant to bring your Valentine can be hard. There’s so much to consider: the vibes, a special menu and a budget. Luckily, Toronto has plenty of restaurants serving up gorgeous Valentine’s Day meals that are sure to make the night extra romantic.
Here are five Toronto spots that are serving specials on and around Valentine’s Day.
Miku
The spot: Miku is a high-end sushi restaurant in the core of downtown. On top of serving up Aburi (or seared) cuisine, Miku also has an extensive sake selection and the opportunity to do sake flights for an elevated and unique drink pairing for Valentine’s day.
The special: From February 9-14, Miku is offering a 7-course Kaiseki Tasting Menu ($198/person) featuring their Aburi Sashimi, Sous Vide Duck, 24-hour kelp-cured US Wagyu and more. On Valentine’s Day, Miki is also offering a take-out special for two featuring 1 sushi box, 1 kitchen box and a dessert box ($110). Book via OpenTable.

Patois
The spot: Known for their Jamaican Chinese food, Patois is a cool spot to bring your Valentine. Not to mention their great cocktail program which includes one-of-a-kind sips like their Lychee Aperol Spritz ($16) and Young Whole Coconut with Appleton Estate ($19.50).
The special: Chef Craig Wong of Patois will be serving up two specials from February 9 to 18th. The first, The Lovers Lane ($155) includes a choice of apps, JunePlum Jamaican Patties and a choice between oxtail or jerk chicken. The meal is served with sides and an adorable heart-shaped cookie butter french toast.The second special, the One Love special ($170) includes “the whole shebang”—that is, a whole feast of patties, mac pie, pineapple bun burger and more. Plus, a bottle of Prosecco, a heart-shaped cookie butter french toast and 2 rum punch shots. Book online.

Alder
The spot: Located in the Ace hotel, Alder is the brainchild of chef Patrick Kriss, who’s also behind esteemed TO spots like Aloette. Serving up a Mediterranean-inspired menu, this is the perfect place to bring your beau for seasonal and well-sourced bites.
The special: Alder will be serving up one-of-a-kind dishes from February 10-14 including a foie gras torchon ($28) and pistachio mille feuille ($26). Book on Tock.

Miss Aida
The spot: Located on Roncesvalles in the west end, Miss Aida serves up a selection of Lebanese mezze-style dishes (think small shareables). Plus, Miss Aida’s cocktail menu features unique libations like the Turkish coffee-based Istanbul Martini ($19) that are sure to impress your date.
The special: From February 14 – 17, diners can enjoy Aida’s feast for two ($150)—a tasting menu featuring seven shareable dishes, two glasses of Prosecco and in-house desserts. Book online.

Pink Sky
The spot: This seafood-focused spot on King West is the perfect place to take your boo for all delicious and fresh catches. Plus, Pink Sky serves up delicious raw oysters, the most Valentine’s Day food you can treat you and your boo to.
The special: Pink Sky’s Valentine’s Day special ($125/person) runs from February 14 – 17 and comes with 2 starter courses, a main and a dessert. Options include shrimp cocktail, pan seared crab cake and beef tartare for the first and second courses. For mains, pick between mushroom risotto, their signature truffle lobster mac and cheese and more. Book on OpenTable.
