The Duchess of Cambridge got up to a little sleight of…hair this weekend.

At first glance, the above picture seems to show Kate—who has been snipping her hair shorter and shorter of late—with a bob of sorts, which is kinda news in royal watching circles.

Closer inspection, however, reveals that it’s actually just her regular shoulder length hair pinned up, which means attention can go right back to where it should have been on this occasion (a Remembrance Day service), a.k.a. honouring the men and women who served in Britain’s armed forces.
