Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are starting American Thanksgiving week in Vancouver. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were photographed at the Vancouver Canucks hockey game at Rogers Arena, where the team faced off against the San Jose Sharks. As the Canucks revealed on their X, formerly known as Twitter, account, Meghan and Harry were there to “celebrate the Invictus Games coming to Vancouver and Whistler February 2025.”

Meghan appeared polished but casual in a Max Mara coat, black top, Altuzarra trousers, a Cartier choker, watch, and gold bracelets, and a Lorraine Schwartz five-eye diamond bracelet. She was photographed cheering with Harry in the stands at the game.

The couple’s appearance comes days after royal reporter Omid Scobie spoke to People about Harry and Meghan’s differing views on the royal family. Markle has “moved on” from the royals while Harry “still has unfinished business,” Scobie said. “Quite early on in the [Endgame book-writing] process, some of those Meghan sources that I really leant on in the earlier years this time were like, ‘You know what? She doesn’t want anything to do with it.’”

“For Harry it’s different,” Scobie continued. “He still has unfinished business when it comes to his battles with the press. His challenge will be to find something that balances that out so we can see him working in a space that isn’t connected to the ties that bind from the past.”

He shared that, at this point, those working in the palace view Meghan and Harry “as just irritating noise. The feelings of this man are not worth anything anymore. That’s sort of typical of any big corporation. I know it’s different because they’re family. But as we’ve known for a long time, the meaning of family is very different to them.”
