Since his Off-Broadway debut, young star Timothée Chalamet has given a series of rich and varied performances under the direction of the greatest directors; his performance in the film Call Me By Your Name directed by Luca Guadagnino even earned him an Oscar nomination. This year, he will resume his role in the highly anticipated Dune: Part Two, directed by Denis Villeneuve and will play the titular character in Wonka, the prequel to the Roald Dahl novel.

Chalamet’s bold style and natural charm perfectly embody the visionary and forward-thinking spirit of the next chapter of Bleu de CHANEL, highlighting a man who sees beyond boundaries and sets no limits for himself. “When you put on Bleu de CHANEL, you’re emphasizing a distinct experience, or maybe a certain look, occasion, or date. For me, personally, there’s a specific intention behind fragrance. I’m not someone who wears a scent all the time. When I do, it becomes emblematic of a moment, and later there’s a nostalgia for that moment and it becomes something more meaningful,” says Chalamet.

This new role marks the beginning of his collaboration with CHANEL as well as his first experience as an official ambassador of a beauty and fashion brand: “The decision was not dissimilar to agreeing to do a film. I am lucky to be at a place in my career where I have the opportunity to curate and choose projects that strike my passion.”
