Here’s our round up of all the things (sequins! abs! doggies!) that caught our attention on Day #4 of World MasterCard Fashion Week…
The Moroccan-inspired Print At Whitney Linen Real talk: it was unfashionably freezing yesterday in Toronto, but about 2 looks into Whitney Linen’s collection, and I swear I felt a warm desert breeze (or was that the gorgeous male model walking by crisp white linen?) A stand out for me was the kaleidoscopic, yellow-and-blue print that was woven throughout the show, reminiscent of tiling in Tangiers. Now, who’s up for lamb tagine? -Sarah Laing, Writer
Carbs To The Rescue! Le Chateau sent a food truck, that served fish tacos and poutine, to feed the starving editors outside the fashion week tents (#thankyou). I loved seeing top model (ELLE Canada’s August cover girl) Dauphine open the Rudsak show in a mustard yellow leather jacket and python print short shorts. -Alannah O’Neill, associate editor
