Street Style

The major street style trend from Stockholm Fashion Week

by : Liz Guber- Sep 1st, 2016

1/11

Seen on the runways at Marc Jacobs, Jacquemus, Vetements and Stella McCartney, the, knuckle-skimming sleeve was road-tested on the streets of Stockholm during fashion week.

This look is all about exaggerated shapes, from the extra-long denim jacket sleeves to the extra-wide flares.

Is this trend a little impractical? Yes. So try the look with an oversized hoodie, you can scrunch the sleeves up whenever you need to reach for your wallet.

A flouncy sleeve adds a feminine touch when it peeks out underneath a leather jacket.

Undone cuffs are key to this insouciant look.

Whether fluted or straight, sleeves skim past the wrist.

Again, a hoodie with extra-long sleeves. This time it’s made extra-grungy with a pair of stompin’ boots.

The white button down, updated.

This trend is made for layering.

Elongated sleeves and off-the-shoulder? This top knocks out two trends in one.

Will you give this trend a try?
