Congratulations to it-Brit label Peter Pilotto, who won the BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund! As winners, they will receive high-level mentoring support over the next year, some cash (£200,000) and serious street cred. We caught up with Christopher De Vos and Peter Pilotto (the creative minds behind the brand) for our February issue, and they gave us a bit of insight into their process. "Our working styles are inspiring for one another because we like the same things but have different approaches," De Vos says. "For example, when we look at a dimension, I see the structure and volume aspect and Peter sees the graphic aspect. We are also constantly exploring the world of colors and textures and its reflected in our graphic prints and techniques." By the way, we should probably mention their totally covetable Target collab hits stores on Feb. 9th. Something tells us it won’t stay in stock long!
