Nothing like a Mean Girls quote to end your week, right? Okay, so maybe that’s not exactly what NYFW said to fashion bloggers, but that’s basically the message. Catherine Bennett, senior vice president and managing director for IMG has announced that next season, it will be way harder for non-print journalists to nab a ticket to the shows in New York. "[It] was becoming a zoo," Bennett told the Wall Street Journal. "What used to be a platform for established designers to debut their collections to select media and buyers has developed into a cluttered, often cost-prohibitive and exhausting period for our industry to effectively do business.” Click through to read more…
