Take Ivy-esque retro prepsters, leisurely playing tennis and cruising on old school bikes. It was an idea of what’s to come: Classic cotton shirt dressing paired with utilitarian separates by day, buttoned-collar party girl by night. Cuffs of crisp white shirts were dipped in neon ombre, bottoms of khaki uniforms were snipped off to reveal raw edges, and sequins adorned everything from shorts to sleeveless shells.
