Rihanna showed her much anticipated Spring 2017 collection for Fenty x Puma today, and it had all of the bad gal boldness and girly glamour we were hoping for.  

Set at Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild in Paris, the backdrop was complete with ornate chandeliers, and the front row was full of Victoria’s Secret models, including Jourdan Dunn, Sara Sampaio and Doutzen Kroes.

As for the fashion: for her second show Rihanna kept the slouchy silhouettes from the original collection, but introduced a whole new colour scheme.

The clothes were an assortment of pastel and sorbet shades, from pink and nude to mint green and purple. We also spotted new details like corsets, hoodies, layered pearl chokers like those seen at Y/Project, and lace do-rags.

The overall theme, as explained by Rihanna herself post-show: Marie Antoinette at the gym. This collection certainly isn’t for the faint of heart, but we’re betting it will fly off the shelves anyway.
