Is this show the new Breaking Bad?
If you’ve got a Breaking Bad sized whole in your life that Better Call Saul just can’t fill, here’s a binge-watching suggestion for you.
The trailer for a new Netflix show called Ozark dropped today and based on the 1:02 preview it looks like a super-gripping, super dark story of a family pushed to edge in a small American town.
That edge is both moral—the dad in the family is a big-time money launderer—and mental, when the family has to flee their life in Chicago for the Ozarks when something goes wrong in daddy’s deal with a Mexican drug cartel.
The series, released July 21, is produced by Jason Bateman, and also stars Laura Linney, who we would watch fold laundry and probably think that was worth an Emmy.
