Mere weeks from becoming an member of the royal family, Meghan Markle attended her first official event with the Queen today.
Meghan accompanied fiancé Prince Harry (and the rest of the royal crew) to today’s Commonwealth Day church service at Westminster Abbey. And while it’s been reported that the former actress has hung out with the Queen before — including Christmastime at Sandringham— it’s the first time Meghan has been invited to an official engagement alongside the monarch.
For the occasion, the soon-to-be royal picked a cream-coloured coat by British designer Amanda Wakeley and a matching beret by Stephen Jones. She carried a chic Mulberry clutch.

Wills and Kate were, of course, in attendance as well. Kate was spotted wearing a dark blue coat by Beulah London and a matching Lock & Co hat, according to the Daily Mail.
