HAIR CARE
Rahua Classic Shampoo ($45) gets the ELLE stamp of approval for its sudsy, biodegradable formula. “It’s one of the few natural shampoos that doesn’t compromise on quality or luxury,” says Shanice Zoeteweij, freelance beauty editor at ELLE Netherlands.
FACE CARE
Kora Organics Noni Glow Face Oil ($90) proves that “beauty is not opposed to respecting the environment,” says Susana Blázquez, beauty director at ELLE Spain. The organic treatment oil “delivers an immediate glow to your skin.”
MAKEUP
“[Founder] Rose-Marie’s formulas are always exacting, and a little goes a long way,” says Lesa Hannah, beauty director at ELLE Canada, of RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek ($48).
MAKEUP
LIP COLOUR
“The impeccable colour range could only have been done by Lucia Pica,” says Yumiko Murata, beauty director at ELLE Japan, of Chanel Rouge Coco Flash ($46). “It instantly gives a vibrant colour and glow to your lips.”
FOUNDATION
Guerlain L’Essentiel Natural Glow Foundation ($65) “not only covers imperfections but also creates a protective veil against pollution,” says Rozina Kouri, senior beauty editor at ELLE Greece. The breathable formula is made of 97 percent naturally derived ingredients.
MASCARA
Givenchy Volume Disturbia de Givenchy ($33) “provides exceptional volume and thickness with the first application without having to overload,” says Arlette Barrionuevo, beauty and fashion editor at ELLE Argentina.
FACE CARE
MOISTURIZER
ELLE editors love the two-part Clinique iD ($29 for the Custom Hydration Base and $18 for the Active Cartridge Concentrate) for its innovative take on bespoke skincare. Its custom-blend base and concentrate “allow us to be more attentive to the skin’s needs,” says Théo Dupuis-Carbonneau, beauty editor at ELLE Québec. “I love it!”
MASK
Dior Dreamskin 1-Minute Mask ($100) gets a win for its efficacy and speed. As Katy Young, group luxury beauty director at ELLE U.K., puts it, “Anything that brightens [my skin] in 60 seconds gets my vote.”
ANTI-AGING
Esteé Lauder Advanced Night Repair Intense Reset Concentrate ($100) is the newest iteration of the cult-status product, and it upholds the reputation of the original Advanced Night Repair. “Think of it as an SOS serum when your skin needs extra care and to be soothed,” says Carolina Adães Pereira, beauty editor at ELLE Portugal. “The results come fast.”
BODY CARE
MOISTURIZER
“In this body cream, there are long-term anti-agers as well as short-term tightening effects thanks to special polymers that dry down for a Spanx-like mesh,” says Katie Becker, beauty and health director at ELLE U.S., of Sisley- Paris Sisleÿa L’Integral Anti-Age Concentrated Firming Body Cream ($495).
ANTI-CELLULITE
Carolina Alvarez, beauty editor at ELLE Mexico, loves Lierac Body-Slim Cryoactive Concentrate Embedded Cellulite for its “gel-cold” texture. “If you are consistent with the treatment, you can see great results within a month,” she says. (Note: It’s not available in Canada.)
SUN CARE
Forgoing sun protection for fear of greasy or whitening formulas is “a thing of the past” thanks to Shiseido Sports Invisible Protective Mist SPF50+, says Anne Pedersen, beauty director at ELLE Denmark. You’ll have to pick this up on your next Euro trip as it’s not available in Canada.

The smoothing effects of Kérastase Paris Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum ($65) will “cut down your morning hair routine by half,” says Mamta Mody, beauty and health director at ELLE India.
STYLING
ELLE editors unanimously applauded L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.Art Transformer Lotion ($33) for its versatility. “It metamorphoses from liquid to paste, has a volumizing effect and is thermo-protective,” says Lavinia Gogu, beauty editor at ELLE Romania.
SHAMPOO
“It absorbs sebum and dirt like a vacuum cleaner,” says Velina Vasileva, deputy editor-in-chief and beauty editor at ELLE Bulgaria, of Klorane Anti-Pollution Detox Shampoo with Aquatic Mint ($11). Hang tight: This product will be available Canada-wide beginning mid-January.
FRAGRANCE
Marie-Noëlle Vekemans, digital editor-in-chief and head of beauty at ELLE Belgium (French), calls Hermès Un Jardin sur la Lagune ($170 for 100 mL) “an invitation to travel.” “Its scent is very elegant,” she says. “It is complex and light but recognizable at the same time. I cannot get enough.”
