Where to Stay in Vancouver when Taylor Swift Comes to Town
Here's how to make the most of your weekend in Vancouver.

Wedgewood Hotel and Spa
Are you ready for it?
After months of agony and uncertainty, the tickets have been purchased and the excitement is mounting for the arrival of a certain blonde bombshell. Taylor Swift is bringing her Eras Tour to Vancouver in January 2025 and hotels started selling out almost immediately after tickets went on sale.
As the city braces itself for the arrival of out of town Swifities, we’ve taken a look at the local hotels that would make for the best experience. At these six stunning properties you can prep for the concert (or recover after) at the spa, indulge in a stiff drink and delicious meal, and party the night away after the best night of your life. It’s what Taylor would have wanted.
Wedgewood Hotel & Spa
If you’re looking to really lean into the sparkle and decadence of a weekend with Taylor Swift, the penthouse suite at the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa is the ultimate splash out. The decked out suite has a romantic library style salon complete with a fireplace and a bathtub that dreams are made of. The third-generation family owned and operated Relais & Chateaux property is located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, less than a 15 minute walk from BC place and some of the best brunch places in Vancouver (hello, Cafe Medina). Not that you’d have to wander far for delicious food since the stunningly moody Venetian-interior Michelin-recommended restaurant Bacchus is in the lobby. Enjoy a cocktail in the Bacchus lounge and listen to the piano player before heading off to the main event and then make sure you have a spa appointment booked for the next morning to help the body, mind and soul recover from a night of dancing and singing your heart out.
Azur Legacy Collection Hotel
Azur is one of the newest most-lavish boutique hotels to open in Vancouver in a while, tucked away in the financial district a short uber ride from BC Place. The 104-room property is close enough to the hustle and bustle of Downtown to spend your day exploring the Art Gallery or shopping on Robson but far enough away that the rooms offer peace and quiet when you need it. But really, the appeal of Azur comes from its splashy art deco interior and recently unveiled crowning jewel: a swanky 14th floor sky bar. The new Eastern Mediterranean bar and restaurant Lavantine is one of two restaurants inside the 5-star property, a rarity for a hotel of its size. The lobby restaurant and cocktail bar Dahlia serves up one of our favourite drinks of the year so far which we highly recommend trying before the concert. The graham cracker infused bourbon, cherry wood chips and chocolate bitters of the ‘Life’s a gas’ cocktail aren’t overly sweet, smoky or bitter but a delicious blend of all three. It’s the kind of drink that makes you hope Taylor plays a song off Tortured Poets Department as part of her surprise set.
Granville Island Hotel
If you’re coming all the way to Vancouver to see Taylor Swift, you may as well make the most of what the city has to offer and Granville Island is one of our greatest treasures. Since the Vancouver leg of the Eras Tour is in January it will also be the off season for this little artist’s community which means less crowds to contend with which is a major bonus. Located on the other side of the water, just a 10-minute drive from BC place, The Granville Island Hotel is a great option for those who want to spend their downtime browsing through adorable shops, art studios, and food markets. The hotel has an attached restaurant (Dockside) with gorgeous views of the marina but there’s also plenty of food options a stone’s throw away, especially for fans of seafood. Our dream itinerary would involve spending the day poking around the Net Loft and Public Market with coffee and donuts from Lee’s Donuts or a selection of macarons from Bon Macaron Patisserie, dinner and drinks at Sandbar before the concert, and a brief Aquabus ride through False Creek to the Plaza of Nations–a one minute walk from BC–to skip the traffic.
Fairmont Pacific Rim
The Fairmont Pacific Rim needs little introduction. Both the hotel and bars and restaurants inside have made countless lists including 100 Best, Conde Nast, Forbes and the Michelin Guide, esteeming them as 5-star luxury must-visits. And it’s true. The Fairmont Pacific Rim is a great choice for a group of friends to build a pampering indulgent weekend around. The Willow Stream spa has a long list of treatment options as well as included amenities such as a Jacuzzi, mineral bath, dry sauna, steam room, fitness centre and indoor lounges. There is also a self-guided Nordic spa experience that hotel guests can enjoy for a small fee. Your group can start your day off with a one-hour yoga session offered on Thursday and Saturday mornings, enjoy the spa and enjoy lunch delivered to you during the experience (just be sure to order when you check in). After dinner we suggest the Botanist Restaurant which has one of the best cocktail programs in the city but if wine and Italian appetizers are more your speed, there’s Cicchetti at the Venetian-style Bacaro. If neither suits, sip champagne with oysters while listening to live music at the lobby raw bar. We can’t imagine a better way to prepare for the Eras Tour.
Parq Vancouver
Imagine a luxury cruise ship ran aground or that an alien spaceship decided to pick up a piece of the Las Vegas Strip and drop it in Downtown Vancouver, right next to BC Place, and you’ll get an idea of Parq Vancouver. The property couldn’t be more perfect for an Eras Tour stay. You can literally see the dome of BC Place from the D/6 patio and it’s a 300 metre walk door to door. It’s also one of the only places in the city to keep the party going apres-Swift without having to brave the nightclub scene. The property comprises two hotels, the JW Marriott and the Douglas hotel, a casino, a spa and over 10 bars, restaurants, and cafes. There’s even a cute Japanese corner store in the lobby. Start your day at the spa, have dinner at Victor, stroll over to the concert, party it up with DJs at D/6 and try your luck at the casino, then recover the next day with waffles and mimosas at Honey Salt–the ultimate party weekend.
Opus Vancouver
Opus is a boutique hotel for art lovers in the middle of one of Vancouver’s trendiest neighbourhoods, Yaletown. The 96 guestrooms and suites are inspired by five different lifestyle décor themes with vibrant colour and pop-deco art for a little something different and spa bathrooms because some things shouldn’t be messed with. The bright and joyful hotel is perfect for anyone in their Lover or 1989 era. The attached restaurant Capo and the Spritz is a darling modern Italian bistro that feels like a little slice of New York surrounded by the redbrick off Yaletown. Plus, it’s less than a 20 minute walk from the seawall, shopping, bars, restaurants and BC place.
