Robbie Williams apologises to Noel Gallagher
Robbie Williams has apologised to Noel Gallagher for “being such a k**b”.
The ‘Angels’ singer and boy band member has a long standing dispute with the former Oasis guitarist after he described him as the “fat dancer from Take That”, which was recently reignited when Robbie told Noel to “lick my arse,” because his group had sold out more consecutive dates at Wembley Stadium in London.
Robbie has, however, apologised in an email, with Noel saying it told him: “Words to the effect of: ‘I’m sorry for being such a knob’.”
Noel – who recently launched his Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds project – also has a dispute with his brother, former Oasis singer Liam, and hinted he is pleased his Pretty Green clothing shop in Manchester was looted in recent riots.
When asked how he felt about the incident, Noel replied: “Every cloud and all that, eh?”
‘The Death of You and Me’ singer also admitted he is a technophobe and isn’t very good at using computers.
He added to The Sun newspaper: “If I’m being honest, I wish I’d never bothered. There’s a lot of unnecessary nonsense that comes with computers that I could have done without knowing – like the language. None of it makes any sense.”
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ self titled debut album will be released on October 17.
