The real winners at last night's Oscars were the Girl Guides of America
And boy, did they clean up.
There were plenty of awards handed out last night (LEOOOOO) but the people who really cleaned up at last night’s Oscars didn’t actually win a golden statue…or even get nominated in the first place.
In what may go down as the cutest bit in Oscar history, Chris Rock interrupted the awards ceremony to help his daughters’ sell some Girl Guide cookies. Yes, you heard that right: Thin Mints and Wagon Wheels were up for grabs in the Dolby Theatre, and man, did they go down a treat.
In the end, the Girl Guides raised over $65,000 from the audience, which is a win by any standards.
Runner up goes to Chris Rock for his performance as Dad of the Century.
