Surgeon cool at Sid Neigum

Scene-stealer “I wanted to follow my normal stream of inspiration,” a grinning Sid Neigum told me after his Spring/Summer 2013 collection last night. “Which is to make everything really clean and modern. But I wanted to take it a step beyond clean, like a surgeon's feel—that's where the hats came from.” The result? Beautifully draped, deceptively body-con jersey frocks in dusty blues, greens and greys, sharp shouldered blazers and a stand-out grey lambskin jacket with raw edges. It was a beautiful collection, and we can't wait to see what Sid does next.

Finale at Cara Cheung

Va-va-voom If some like it hot, then Cara Cheung likes it sizzling. The designer showed a collection of micro-mini dresses featuring high shine embellishments, leather fringes and slits up to there. We were happy to see ELLE Canada favourite Mikayla Mifsud open the show.

Let's here if for the boys It's always refreshing to catch a menswear show, and Queen West staple Klaxon Howl never disappoints. We loved the 1970s army vibe of their show, plus the brand got bonus points because it's a collection we could actually picture our boyfriends wearing.
