A new survey by Elite Singles is sharing some data that confirms what devotees of Hot Guys Reading Books have known forever: Reading is hot.

The survey of 1700 single Canadians reveals that 60 percent of respondents would prefer to get romantic with someone who loves a good book…and apparently 90 percent consider themselves to be “avid readers”. 

File the rest of this info with “do with this what you will”: Apparently men think the most attractive genre for a woman to read is erotica, and for women, 19 percent rate thrillers to be the sexiest thing a man can read.

The least sexy genres are biographies across the board, which frankly is doing a disservice to classics like Dreams From My Father and Eat, Pray, Love.
