The coronavirus pandemic has forced many Canadian couples to reschedule their 2020 weddings. For those who are eager to wed and unwilling to host a Zoom ceremony, Arterra Wines Canada is offering a new, all-inclusive ‘minimony’ wedding package for one day only: August, 1, 2020.

The $2,000 “Wine and Wed” package from the Canadian wine producer includes an officiant, a photographer, wedding confections, a charcuterie platter, set up and VQA wine. There is a maximum of 20 guests and couples are given a two-hour time slot to complete the festivities.

The participating vineyards are Jackson-Triggs Niagara Estate Winery and Inniskillin Niagara Estate Winery in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario; See Ya Later Ranch in Okanagan Falls, B.C.; Sumac Ridge in Summerland, B.C.; and Nk’Mip Cellars in Osoyoos, B.C.

“While traditional wedding plans may have been stifled, we’re here to help couples achieve their dreams in a safe, uncomplicated way that is still breathtaking and unforgettable,” says Andrea Hunt, executive vice-president of marketing at Arterra Wines Canada. “These simple yet elegant options at the estates offer a wonderful and memorable backdrop for nuptials, helping brides and grooms tie the knot despite these exceptional times.”
