This season, Givenchy is launching its newest and most versatile statement bag yet. The Eden—which debuted on the fall-winter 2019 runway—is artistic director Clare Waight Keller’s embodiment of the lush biblical paradise from which she drew inspiration.

With a variety of sizes and finishes to choose from, the Eden’s calling card is its ability to be personalized. Choose from a cross-body pouch or a belt bag, a teal velvet finish or—for the adventurous—a bright pink python skin pattern, or one of many other combinations. The medium-sized bag also comes with removable and interchangeable straps in leather embellished lozenges or crocodile embossing, a feature that’ll be revisited in future seasons.

Handcrafted in Italy, the Eden’s geometric square body and beveled edges are complemented with stitching on the leather in the house’s signature “V” shape, an aubergine lining and the double G clasp in a gold finish. The collection also includes small leather accessories (round, accordion or zipped card cases) which come with thin leather straps that can be worn around the wrist or as a pendant.
