For many, a dream job goes hand-in-hand with a dream company. A study conducted by WWD polled 2,450 individuals via two studies, one on social media and the other directly through top fashion programs at schools such as FIT and the Royal College of Art. The social media polled revealed Chanel to be the number one dream workplace followed by Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, Christian Dior SE and Alexander Wang. Diane von Furstenburg rounded out the top five. The student poll placed Christian Dior in the top spot, followed by H&M, Burberry Group and Prada. Admiration for Gabrielle Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld, as well as the “iconic” status of the house placed were cited as the reasons for placing the design house in the top spot.
