Fans of Sex and the City rejoice! Carrie Bradshaw is back — with her Fendi Baguette in tow. The brand is relaunching the iconic bag this season, with a little help from the actress. Sarah Jessica Parker pays tribute to the iconic character and bag with a special cameo in Fendi’s new campaign. The series, #BaguetteFriendsForever, celebrates the Baguette and friendship with three short films filmed in Shanghai, Hong Kong and New York.
Originally launched in 1997, the Baguette quickly became the It Bag — thanks in part to it’s reoccurring place in Carrie Bradshaw’s coveted wardrobe. The bag has even been featured in major storylines, like when Carrie was mugged and had her purple Baguette stolen.
Get an exclusive look at the New York episode, with a special appearance from Parker, below. Eagle-eyed fans might even notice that the sparkly purple bag is nearly identical to the one Carrie has stolen from her in an infamous SATC episode. We couldn’t help but wonder, is everything old new again?
