It’s all about Mexico this month at Nordstrom.

For it’s latest pop-up concept, Nordstrom is partnering with the U.S. Mexican Consulate to bring apparel, accessories and home decor pieces to the store all from Mexican designers and artisans.

Brands that will be available at the shop include Caralarga, a jewellery and apparel line from Mexico City-native Ana Holschneider, whose line is inspired by raw materials and handcrafted by local women from Querétaro, a city in central Mexico.

Another label to look out for is The Citizenry. They partner with artisans to create and curate home goods, like Women of Oaxaca, a co-operative of Zapotec women who use pedal looms, pure wool and natural dye to preserve pre-Hispanic traditions and knowledge through pieces like pillows and rugs.

Pop-In@Nordstrom’s ¡Viva México! coincides with Mexican Independence Day on September 16, which will be celebrated at participating stores with an event highlighting traditional cuisine in partnership with the Mexican Consulate.

The pop-up is available at CF Pacific Centre in Vancouver, CF Toronto Eaton Centre and online at nordstrom.com/pop from August 31 to September 30.
