On the final day of London Fashion Week Fall 2015, we take a look at our favourite outerwear from the runways. Associate fashion editor Charlotte Herrold’s vote is for Marques’Almeida’s fuzzy purple topper (left), while content producer Sarah Thompson loves Christopher Raeburn’s glammed-up parka (right).

Charlotte’s favourite look: Marques’Almeida

Marques’Almeida’s roughed-up colourful furs are the ultimate cool-girl cold-weather statement pieces. These coats have total rock-star appeal (what’s normcore?) while taking on a wearable-for-us-regular-folk quality when shown with the designers’ edgy demin separates.

Sarah’s favourite look: Christopher Raeburn

Christopher Raeburn based his Fall 2015 collection on elements of survival – and I love it! With shark-shaped accessories, colours like safety orange and heavy parkas worthy of –25 degree temps, Raeburn’s theme was immediately apparent to all front-row attendees. However, it was the sensibility, wearability and femininity of this nipped-waist wool topper that automatically made me say “I need it now” while live streaming the runway show on LFW Day 5. Seriously – I need it now. Have you stepped outside today?
