On Day 3 of London Fashon Week Fall 2015, associate fashion editor Charlotte Herrold and assistant fashion editor Ava Baccari go head-to-head to defend their favourite looks from the runways: Mary Katrantzou (left) and Matthew Williamson (right).

Charlotte’s favourite look: Mary Katrantzou

This mash-up of print, colour blocking, texture and volume is so crazy that is works. The sculptural skirt with a damask print gives a nod to the Victorian while remaining entirely modern – even wearable – thanks to a minimal silhoutte in punchy yellow up top.

Ava’s favourite look: Matthew Williamson

Matthew Williamson is totally on board for a new dawning of the age of Aquarius with a Zodiac-inspired fall collection. Personally, I’m claiming this look for myself and every other creative-minded yet indesicive Sag out there: Is it defined by the mix of boho fabrics and prints, or regal furs and gold detailing? And where do the purple fringe suede booties fit in? Does it even matter anyway? Not when it works so well in the end.
