Hudson’s Bay is bringing back the ultimate era of boy bands and track suits.
The Nostalgia Project is a new immersive pop-up shop featuring the most beloved and sentimental ’90s-era artifacts from over 60 brands. If you’ve found yourself reminiscing about the good ol’ days when going out meant wearing bedazzled everything and Lip Smackers had about a million flavours, this shoppable tribute is for you.
Melissa Jellies shoes, Fila tennis skirts and chunky Casio Baby G watches are just a few of the pieces available as part of the curated collection. The pop-up also marks the debut collection from Capsule 98, a project devoted to the relationships we form with nostalgia and memory. What began as an Instagram dedicated to documenting the contents of a time capsule from 1998, writer and editor Randi Bergman went on to launch a podcast and website to celebrate everything in the past that makes us who we are today.

In addition to looking the part, The Nostalgia Project goes back in time with beauty tutorials from M.A.C., customized jewellery pairings with Foxy and DJs every Saturday in March from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. You can find the pop-up in-stores (locations include Yorkdale, Sherway, Queen St., Montreal Downtown, Vancouver Downtown) and online at thebay.com now through April.
