Burberry is collaborating on a new collection with Vivienne Westwood, announced the brand’s chief creative officer Riccardo Tisci via Instagram today.

Tisci explained the collaboration in a series of posts saying, “Vivienne was one of the first designers who made me dream to become a designer…I am SO honoured to announce a new Burbs collaboration with the original British PUNK.”

The limited edition collection will launch this December and consist of reworked classic styles from the archives of both brands. The collaboration will also support Cool Earth, a non-profit organization that works to protect rainforests.

This will be Tisci’s first-ever Burberry collaboration since becoming chief creative officer in March (he was formerly the creative director at Givenchy) and will follow his debut collection for the house in September.
