DESIGNER COLLABORATIONS
Shop the 3.1 Phillip Lim capsule collection, which the designer himself created exclusively for Saks to coincide with the label’s 10th anniversary. Lim borrowed inspiration from the pieces in his spring 2016 show, which featured a delicate floral motif. “It was all about stopping to smell the flowers and just going against the pace of everything,” he explained. “The capsule collection is a modern take on the classics.”

HAPPY FEET
10022-SHOE is the name of the footwear department at Saks, which features approximately 1,000 different styles of shoes but stocks close to 15,000 pairs – so you’re pretty much guaranteed to find the right fit.

LOOK GOOD, FEEL GOOD
With natural light in some of the change rooms (don’t worry, the windows are frosted for privacy) the often dreaded task of trying on lingerie just got a little more interesting – and a lot less fluorescent.

NO REGRETS
Shopping regrets are not part of the Saks vocabulary. Purchases made at the Canadian location can be returned in the US and vice versa.

FASHION ON THE GO
The Saks ‘At Your Service Mercedes-Benz’ service is to fashion what Uber Eats is to food. Also, it’s the closest thing you’ll get to having Kanye redo your wardrobe. All you have to do is schedule an appointment and a team of experts will bring the clothes to you. Just arrived in town for a business pitch and your luggage got stuck in another time zone? No problem. Got invited to a black-tie gala at the last minute? Your gown is on the way. Nothing fits and you’re on the verge of a fashion breakdown? A new uniform is just a phone call away.

SNACK ATTACK
While not yet open to the public, Saks will be introducing an haute food court in the coming months along with two restaurants by Oliver & Bonacini – expect everything from a champagne bar to a Nutella station.
