5 fashion infomercials that will make you glad it's not 1999 anymore
Remember the bedazzler?

If cringe-worthy infomercials remain as the only sign of humanity after modern civilization falls, what will they say about us? The black-and-white “before” montages will demonstrate that humans get frustrated easily, the products on offer will say that we like our clothes bedazzled and our bra straps out of sight. Necessity is the mother of invention, but these tacky flashbacks suggest the reverse: that invention inspires necessity. That’s the humour of infomercials – the more ridiculous and unnecessary the product, the more exaggerated the ad.
We visited the depths of the internet and the farthest corners of Youtube to dig up these gems.
The Strap Perfect Bra Strap Solution
There’s definitely no chance that little piece of plastic will snap and stab you in the shoulder blade, right?
The Cami Secret
The only thing more dated than this product is the message it sends.
Gotta love an infomercial that opens with “Listen up, Ladies.”
The Wearable Towel
Warning: As you watch this, your reaction will transform from “that’s just ridiculous” to “huh, that’s kind of useful” seamlessly.
Before there was Olivier Rousteing at Balmain, there was the Bedazzler.
