The It-bag Originally seen on Euro-bloggers
Hanneli Mustaparta and
Carolina Engman, the vibrantly-coloured neon Cambridge Satchel quickly became this year’s ‘It Bag.’ Until recently, the bag was only available online through the company’s
website or on
eBay but now, Holt Renfrew in Toronto carries it along with local shop,

The blogger shoe Every blogger and street style photographer was seen wearing the Jeffery Campbell Lita platform in 2011. This sky-high platform comes in hundreds of colours and patterns – from spikes to the American flag. Although the designer brand is available in certain shops in Canada, the very best selection is still found on the web, in particular the e-commerce site
Nasty Gal.

Customize it Blogger Leandra Medine of The
Man Repeller recently did a designer collaboration with custom suiting website
Alex & Eli. Custom suiting is this year’s most practical e-commerce trend that takes the stiff out of the corporate uniform by adding a touch of personalization.  And, if  you can customize suits, you can customize anything – this is just what Blair Edie (the blogger behind
Atlantic-Pacific) loves to do. From customized pieces of
jewellery to electronic
accessories to
loafers, monogramming is now the
nouveau way to accessorize.

Aussie influence Thanks to Australian fashion bloggers like Mandy Shadforth of
Oracle Fox, down-under fashion inspirations have spread like wild fire across the WWW. Swapping seasons means that Australians are a fashion season ahead. Buying swimsuits and summer maxi-dresses in the middle of winter is so much easier when you are buying them from a country in the heat of the summer season. Australian fashion influence took over in 2011 with brands like
Style Stalker and
Shakuhachi being picked up by boutiques and Urban Outfitters throughout the world.
