Toronto edition of the magical Dîner en Blanc event had us royally flushed; cross your fingers for an invite to the first-ever Vancouver soirée.
When: Thursday. Aug. 30, 2012.
Where: Anyone’s guess for a stylish outdoor party with a to-die-for view of the Vancouver skyline.
Buzzworthy notes: This pop-up all-white dinner party has an exclusive guest list of 1,200 lucky souls; fill your picnic basket with baguettes and macarons and hope for a glimpse of the moonlit partygoers.
TORONTO: SHOP
Status: Fashionable Euro call
What: Spanish heritage brand
Massimo Dutti opens its first North American shop at Toronto Eaton Centre. The look? Distinct high-end European tailoring with accessible and on-trend women’s and men’s collections.
When: Thursday Aug. 30.
Where: Toronto Eaton Centre, 3rd floor.
Buzzworthy notes: At almost 5,000 square feet, the Toronto shop is a stylish, home away from Spain (or any of the other 53 countries its based in); with casual and formal in-house designed collections housed in an equally chic and thoughtful design space, you have every reason to attend the grand opening, and then consistently after that.

What: A foodie-meets-gamer paradise,
EXP Restaurant and Bar opened this weekend (stay tuned for the grand opening event), taking the social gaming realm to a whole new haute level.

TORONTO: NEW STORE

What: Winnipeg-based urban design guru
EQ3 opens its flagship shop in Toronto’s Liberty Village.
When: Sept.1, 2012.
Where: 3-51 Hanna Ave., Liberty Village.
Buzzworthy notes: The two-storey flagship will exclusively feature a shop-in-shop with Finnish design house, Marimekko, plus a custom lighting installation to illuminate the sleekly modern space.
