If there’s one thing that Italian designer Giambattista Valli is known for, it’s the fairy-tale-like glamour that his collections exude. With romantic touches like beaded embroidery and dreamy layers of bright tulle, Valli’s creations have turned the fashion house into one of the biggest names in Parisian haute couture. As this year’s designer collaborator with H&M, he blends his signature luxe femininity with a cool rocker-chic edge for pieces that can be worn as standalone statements or mixed and matched.

Ahead of the collection’s launch, ELLE Canada’s fashion and market editor, Elaine Jyll Regio, selects her personal favourites from the limited-edition collaboration. She suggests the leather jacket with faux-fur trim layered over a beaded tulle gown for a perfect holiday-party ensemble or patterned leather pants with high-heel lace booties for a fun play on texture.
