Nordstrom Canada’s latest “Pop-In” experience will appeal to beauty and skincare fiends. Open as of August 7 at Nordstrom Pacific Centre in Vancouver and the Toronto Eaton Centre, the in-store pop-up is spotlighting sustainable skincare products, innovative tools and the latest trends in makeup, with a focus on self-expression, saturated colours and subtle glow.

You can shop antioxidant and vitamin-rich serums from Botnia and Supernal or peruse a selection of anti-aging, brightening and hydrating face masks from brands such as Snow Fox and Rael. Freckle fanatics will be delighted to know that Freck Beauty products will be available, while plant-based customers can browse a selection of sustainable body care items by 54 Thrones.

In a press release, Nordstrom said it is “committed to improving the diversity of the brands we partner with across all parts of our business. We believe there should be more Black-owned and designed brands, along with those created by other people of colour, and we need to prioritize finding ways to support and partner with them.”

Eighteen of the brands available at New Beauty Pop-In@Nordstrom in Canada are founded by people of colour (54 Thrones, Axiology, Botnia, Cirque Colors, Dehiya, Drifter Organics, Fluide, Grace & Stella, Hetime, Lavido, Luv Scrub, LXMI, NCLA Beauty, Rainbo, Rosen Skincare, Snow Fox, Solaris Labs NY and Supernal) and three of those are Black-owned businesses (54 Thrones, Dehiya and Luv Scrub). The majority of brands featured in the shop are female founded.

The Pop-In will be available to shop at Nordstrom Canada until November 1. You’ll also want to mark your calendars for the department store’s big anniversary sale on August 19.
