According to the United Nations’ World Food Programme, one in nine people globally go to bed hungry every night. As the largest humanitarian provider of school meals (they helped 16.4 million children in 2018), World Food Programme works to ensure that everyone has access to better nutrition and increased access to education.

For the seventh year, Michael Kors has partnered with the programme for their Watch Hunger Stop campaign, in which all the proceeds from a special limited-edition collection goes to the agency. This year, the collection consists of a t-shirt ($48) and tote bag ($78) featuring the word “Love,” and is available for purchase online and at all Michael Kors stores.

Lupita Nyong’o stars as the face of this year’s campaign, which revolves around the theme “Food is Love.” Since its inception in 2012, the campaign has helped World Food Programme deliver more than 18 million meals, which is one reason why the Black Panther star says she is lending her support.

“Watch Hunger Stop helps to fund meals for schools, which has a direct impact on leveling the performance playing field for underprivileged students,” said Nyong’o in a statement. “When students can eat, they can perform better in school which in turn leads to greater opportunities in life.”

You can also donate directly to the programme online and in select Michael Kors stores worldwide – $5 provides food for one child in school for one month, $15 for two months and $50 goes towards daily school meals for a year.
