Marion Cotillard is combining glamour and environmental awareness with her latest endeavour: a sustainable jewellery collection with luxury jeweller Chopard.

The La Vie en rose actor designed the collection alongside Chopard co-president Caroline Scheufele. The Ice Cube Capsule by Marion Cotillard consists of seven earrings and a ring, all made with ethical gold and diamonds and inspired by graphic shapes and rock ‘n’ roll sensibilities.

“Marion Cotillard is very creative and all of our discussions on this project have been extremely inspiring,” Scheufele said in a statement. “By bringing her interpretation to our Ice Cube collection, she is inventing a contemporary and relaxed way to wear diamonds. It is a great pleasure to combine her ideas with our expertise in the realm of ethical jewellery.”

Mixing and matching the asymmetrical, cube-inspired earrings is encouraged and those with unpierced ears (like Cotillard) are in luck, as the pieces can clip on.

Cotillard was an early supporter of Chopard’s Journey to Sustainable Luxury initiative, having worn a necklace from the brand’s Green Carpet Collection on the red carpet at the Cannes film festival in 2013 and subsequently designing a bracelet for the collection in 2015.

The Ice Cube Capsule by Marion Cotillard will be available by special order this season.
