At 100 years old, Iris Apafel shows no signs of slowing down. The interior designer turned fashion icon has joined forces with H&M for a collection of colourful clothing and accessories inspired by her own eclectic outfits. “Having style doesn’t require spending a lot of money,” says Apfel, who’s never seen without her iconic round glasses and a cascade of jewellery. “What matters is how you feel when you wear something. Style is about self-expression, and, above all, it’s an attitude.” The partnership between the influencer and the Swedish label will produce floral-motif suits, extravagant ruffled dresses and, of course, bracelets and necklaces for layering in classic Iris Apfel style. The collection launches on April 14, 2022.
