Today, Nordstrom’s Toronto flagship opens at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre. This isn’t just your business-as-usual store opening. To fete the Eaton Centre store, Nordstrom hosted a star-studded gala on September 14^th, and raised $270,000 for local charity organizations Covenant House Toronto, Humber River Hospital Foundation, Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO), SickKids Foundation, St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation and Women’s College Hospital Foundation. A fashion show during the gala featured looks by Stella McCartney, Loewe and Marc Jacobs.

The service bar is the spot to load up a gift card, and (regretfully) return the to die-for Molly Goddard tulle dress that you can’t justify right now. There’s also a cell phone charging station on each floor, a 24-hour our service desk to help with 2am wardrobe emergencies and a 2-hour delivery service anywhere in Toronto – for free.

Popular demand

The Pop-In@Nordstrom concept brings the coolest merch by the buzziest designers to the store for a limited time. The Eaton Centre location will kick off with a special pop-up with Alexander Wang. Expect men’s and women’s apparel and accessories, like a limited-edition, exclusive Kangol hat, which just walked down the runway at Wang’s spring 2017 show. Other cool extras include sleep masks, pool toys and more.

Shopping is serious work, so chill out at the cocktail lounge on the second floor, and sip the Toronto-themed “Dundas Street Sidecar.”
